It feels so good to get in the car and be at the ocean especially Point Lookout, all four seasons of the year. A good walk on the sand by the waves is so good for my soul. I may not see the ocean for weeks or months but it’s good to know that it’s there-there’s some kind of mostly soothing comfort that stays in my energy field. My favorite time at the beach in the summer is about 430PM-the intensity of the sun is often over for the day, many of the groups of crowds have gone off the beach. To eat a tuna sandwich by the shore’s edge, sitting on a towel can be so heavenly. I am very happy that I have always very close to the Atlantic Ocean.

TO have the ocean so close is my life long dream. I have had to find solace in creeks and the Hudson River, most days. But, I will be at the shore soon.
I can totally relate as I also live about 15 minutes from the ocean–and delight that I can see it from the playground at recess duty. I love the ocean best at low tide…whatever time that happens to be. But I do love it when low tide coincides with after work walking time…like today! It feels like a mini vacation in the middle of the week.
