The Orchid Show that I enjoyed back on March 3rd was beautiful. I am still enjoying my photographs. The New York Botanical Garden is a lovely city spot. Green, green, green soothes my nervous system. The rhythms and beauty of the beautiful natural life. Wishing everyone sprinkles of joy.

What a beauty! I consider myself a green thumb, but orchids are new territory. I haven’t dared care for them. Have you ever read The Orchid Thief, by Susan Orleans? It’s one of my favorite examples of researched creative nonfiction. Golden line: “Green, green, green soothes my nervous system.” 💚
I tried with an orchid once, but I was an utter failure at it, despite the once a week ice cube. You are indeed brave, and that photo is gorgeous.
