Peace to you

Just a quick post to say peace to you. May your inner peace expand. May you have sprinkles of joy. I used to watch the news basically the last five or six years for about four or five hours each night. I was so confused about what was going on that I was trying to make sense of it all. I am in a different place now-I can be angry and sad about the news and see the headlines on my phone a bunch of times during the day but if I listen to an hour of news a day it’s a lot. I feel so helpless. I do what I can do. I hope that everyone will vote. Peace to all of us.

The above people are Brad Yates and Pam Gregory, both of whom I have been following for years.

  1. The news is terrible. And the increase in its presence in our lives has not improved our individual lives, especially since it is almost all what we can not control. Finding joy in the little things – what I can control – and noticing the beautiful people I interact with every day is usually a good antidote.
